Dr. Jordi Guimerà was born in Ibiza, he studied medicine at the Autonomous University of Madrid. Subsequently, he completed his specialty at the Son Espases University Hospital (Palma de Mallorca).
During his specialty he completed the PhD named 'Prevalence of distal renal tubular acidosis in patients with urinary stones' directed by Prof. F. Grases. He currently works as a urologist in the lithiasis unit of Son Espases University Hospital.
